Behemoth 'Darkness & Evil' Whole Bean and Ground specialty coffee
Darkness & Evil β Behemoth Specialty Coffee (Whole Bean & Ground)
Darkness & Evil is a specialty blend we built to be heavy and uncompromising β the kind of coffee that holds its own black, but takes milk without losing its backbone. It's roasted for us by Kawana, a Polish artisan roastery from our hometown of GdaΕsk, and it's officially SCA-rated.
What is SCA?
SCA stands for Specialty Coffee Association β a global organization that sets the highest quality standards for coffee production, from bean to cup. Coffees are graded on a 100-point scale by certified cuppers, and only those scoring above 80 points are classified as βspecialty.β
Darkness & Evil scored 83 points, which puts it firmly in specialty territory.
It's a 100% Arabica blend from three origins β Honduras, Brazil, and Nicaragua β each graded at 83 SCA and grown above 1,100 metres. The beans go through a mix of natural and washed processing, which is where that thick, grounded character comes from.
The cup is led by cocoa and walnut, with a quiet caramel finish underneath. Medium roast, full body, low on sharpness β made for people who like their coffee dark and substantial.
Choose your grind and size below β whole bean or ground, in the weight you need.
